We're putting together an exhibit at the Hollingsworth Building in April! Rather than the typical jury format we're going to have a simpler selection committee and try to hang at least one image from each member who participates.

We're trying something a little different this time. We want to include as many members as possible in the exhibit so we're asking the selection committee to include at least one image from each member who submits, if possible. Of course, the images still have to be well executed and have artistic merit as the exhibit is a professional venue with the pieces for sale. And, the the club has standards as well. Within that, we hope each participant can hang at least one piece.

The exhibit runs through the month of April so now is the time to pick out your images, polish them up and get ready send them in. There's no need to shoot new photos for the exhibit.  Pick some of the best work you have on file. While work that has been exhibited previously in Transylvania County is not eligible, images from past Show'n'Tells and Photo Critiques can be submitted.

Here are the basics to get you started:

• Each member can submit up to three (3) images, and we expect to hang around twenty-five (25) images. If we get more submissions than that, we may have two hangings during the exhibit so everyone gets a chance to display.
• We'll be using a simplified selection committee process to choose the images. With the timeline below, you'll have four full weeks to print and prepare the finished work.
• Sizes are somewhat smaller this time so we can get more images in the exhibit. The maximum size for the outer dimension is 13" x 16", be it a framed print or a canvas.
• The Fourth Friday Gallery Walk will be Friday, April 23^rd.
